This place is a real treat and a bit of fine dining surprise on lake martin. Â We enjoyed a great meal Saturday night and were impressed by the restaurant's open vaulted architecture. Â 2 at the table had a beef short rib that was prepared as slow smoked meat ( vs. the slow cooked stew style you see most often) - it was great! Â I had a flounder that was light but had a wonderful flavor. Â Our waitress Sarah was very helpful and attentive. We met Sam the manager who is from my brother's home town and he helped with some wine selections. Â He is studying for an advanced sommelier designation and seems to have a great passion for the culinary arts. Â I think his wine list was great - we all had different choices by the glass and they were unique, reasonable and above all delicious .
