Stadium Club

Simple, welcoming, laid back, clean, cheap, entertainment, friendly owner and staff, and best of all the plexiglass that separates us from the creek where there is fish.  Bad Ass!!  It is your typical small town neighborhood dive bar.  I am from Placerville, but I have lived here in Sacramento for my adulthood, so I never went to any of the bars back up the hill until that day.  As soon as I walked in I felt right at home even though I didn't know a soul in there.  When you're surrounded by positive energy and friendly people you know you're in the right spot.  I recommend visiting this cute little bar.

Note: I am writing this as a review of a dive bar, not as a general review of a dining or drinking establishment.

This is a great little bar with a couple of bigscreens (They've had anything from Seinfeld to Nascar on when I've stopped in) two pool tables and a sweet plexiglass floor exposing the creek running underneath it.   The pool tables dominate the center of the bar but the real draw is the patch of glass floor (maybe 4ftx6ft) through which you can see a creek running under the bar.   Drinks are

Prices are fair, drinks are decent (I wouldn't call them stiff nor weak) and the mugs they serve Sierra in are icy cold.  

I recommend this as a great place to stop off on your way to or from Tahoe or if youre just in the P'ville area.   .
