Cuppa Coffee & More!

My wife and I were passing through on our way to Tahoe and this place looked exactly like what we needed, and boy did they deliver.

First, their chai is one of the best I've had in a long time.  It was just the right temperature and full of flavor.

We got the poppy seed scone which was very good.  When we first arrived there was a couple who strongly suggested getting the sweet potato frittata, so we did.  It was quite interesting, with little cubes of sweet potato throughout.  

What really made it for me was their home made hot sauce.  They had two of them and were really good.  I tried to figure out how they made it but the waitress wasn't giving up any secrets.  

One of the walls was covered with wines and books.  One book shelf was labeled something like "free library".  

If we lived near Placerville I know we would go there all the time.

I really, really want to love this place but I can't. The food isn't good and the cofee snob in me just doesn't like what they're roasting. Sorry guys.

Only good pull in Placerville. Gluten free foods available. Nice people. Coffee ice cubes. I go for the latte.
