Went one Thursday or Friday night at about 10 pm and wanted some drinks and bar food to munch on. Apparently the kitchen was already closed so we got no food, just drinks. The crowd there was terrible and disgusting.
Decided to give it one more try (actually I didnt, I wanted to go to FireHouse where we get real food and service and good times- my fiance, however, wanted to go to play pool).
After standing around the front waiting to be seated, I asked the man standing in front if we sit wherever we'd like, he said sure. Found out later he worked there--- why he said nothing to us in the first place is beyond me.
Just like another review on here, apparently "sit wherever" means "hopefully you get a seat where the waitresses come by to take your order"....
The second we sat down, a waitres/food runner gave us a bowl of French fries, then tried to take it away because it wasn't for our table. Then instructed us when we did order French fries later that they were out and that was their last bowl. Sucks for the other guys that ordered the fries that came to us.
15 minutes later, our waitress came by, and when she did come, she had no clue about anything on the menu. When we ordered drinks, no straws, we went to the bar to get our own straws. Two people at our table ordered a side salad before dinner, only one came out- with no silverware. The food was terrible. We will NEVER order food here, spend the money on it, when we can buy the ingredients ourselves and cook it at our own house.
The sliders are the worst- burnt patties, one string of an onion, a tiny slice of a tomato with disgusting sauce, I had to re-order with no sauce. The wings have hardly any sauce- oh wait, all the sauce was poured in the bottom of the bowl with the wings thrown on top. The 'chef' salad came out and had the same thing as the side salad. We had to ask her to put the normal stuff on the salad.
And The waitress informed us that she was just waiting for us to leave so she can go home since we were her last table. Because apparently when 5 of us are ordering dinner and 5 rounds of drinks, she doesn't want that huge bill and tip...???. Our friend said she can stay and sit with us(not agreed upon with the whole table, but she was a cute girl) she said she is just waiting to go home an smoke some weed.
Really? Did you think you had awesome service, friendly face, knowledgable and terrific food that we're all best friends now and you want to tell us that you're a pot head?
Of course we were starving so we ate... some of it... We only stayed to finish our alcohol, they can't mess that up. Oh wait, they're out of half their vodkas too.
I literally downloaded yelp so that I can tell everyone how terrible this place is.
My husband wanted to try this place after hearing advertisements  on the radio. When they call themselves the Stadium Club they are not kidding. The food tastes exactly like the crap you get in a stadium except more expensive. We ordered the Nachos for $11 and they were made with  canned chili and cheese sauce instead of real cheese. Are you kidding me? Disgusting! Needless to say this was our first and last visit to the Stadium Club.
Review Source:About 15 of us were here for the country western night on Friday. In a nutshell, we had a blast. The atmosphere was awesome, from the guys greeting you at the door, to the music and dj's and the nice girl teaching the line dances. One could tell staff was going out of its way to accommodate guests. Works for me, credit to management there.
We were there to dance and have a good time, therefore only three in our party ordered food, they all said it was good, the rest of us drank, danced and had fun (yeee haaw!). The place is big and the bar is long, no wait for drinks.
This was my first time here, not sure why it has two names, Stadium House and Stadium Club, new ownership / management (?) Â Am posting my review on both as I'm not sure.
We couldn't get enough so we're all coming back next Friday for more (!!)
The first time I went here, the place was crowded and service was ok. Â This last time, there were far fewer customers, and yet the service was lousy. Â The wait staff was huddled at the service area of the bar, and we had to go to them twice to get refills on drinks. Â The food was pretty good. Â The big disappointment was when we were watching the last of the game, waiting for our check and the wait staff had moved to a booth near the kitchen, only 20 feet from our table and we couldn't get their attention until we (again) went to them. Â In the restaurant business, there's always cleaning and organizing that needs to be done. Â As a manager, I would have put the staff to work or sent some of them home.
Review Source:Needs a two week visit by Gordon Ramsay! Â Sorry, but if Stadium Club was an aircraft, it is in a deep dive and may crash and burn. Â I am not a hard person to please, but myself and my friend enter the bar on December 30, and there are there is a Redskins vs Cowboy game playing on every single screen. Â The place is less than 1/4 full. Â We came to watch the Clippers vs Jazz. Â BTW, Clippers undefeated in 15 games and are the #1 team in the NBA on this date. Â Not playing on any screen. Â We ask the apparent owner/manager if we could watch the Clippers game. Â He said sure, and asked us where we would like to see the game, I pointed to a flat screen above a booth with an US Flag over it, he says gruffly, no way, that's our biggest screen and everyone is watching the Redskins. Â Apparently, he misunderstood which screen I was talking about and I clarified that we wanted to watch it on the smaller screen that was under the US flag, not the huge screen to the left which a bunch of Redskins fans were obviously watching. Â He said no, not there either. Â My friend and I just wanted some drinks and appetizers and didn't really want to talk any longer with this guy, so I told him we already picked one, could you tell us where we can watch the game? Â He directs us to a table around the corner and is trying to put the game on with the tablet pc he is holding. We move to the table and sit down, and he states that he can't put the Clippers on that TV either since the signal is fed to several TVs. Â I ask him again, where can he put on the game and we will move there, of course we are directed back to my first pic, the flat screen under the US flag (There are like 30+ TVs in this place). Â
We had some hot wings that were not very hot (spicy) and chili. Â The chili was good, the wings were ok, and not very many for the $, and our waitress was good. Â After the Redskins game, one group of fans stayed after and began playing rap on the jukebox to which they were at times singing along to. Â Really, I can't say in this review, what the words were within the rap because it will stop my review, but basically included, racial slurs agains blacks, slurs against women, oral copulation, and tons of f-bombs. Â All this while a 5 year old was seated at a table in the room. Â What owner would allow a vendor to put those types of selections in a jukebox. CRAZY. Â
While we were seated, adjacent to us, one of the staff sat in an adjoining booth folding napkins and noticed that we were watching the game with no sound, it was nice of him to offer to turn on the sound but we declined, the game was almost over, why the owner didn't set this up, I don't know, probably the same reason, he tuned in the game on the SD feed rather than the HD.
We paid the bill and stopped in the restroom on the way out. Â A disaster, trash was overflowing and paper towels were everywhere. Â It looked and smelled like it needed major cleanup with some product containing bleach. Â This place was less than 1/4 full, there is no way that the bathroom shouldn't have been in top shape. Â Â Â
This place is located in Ranch Mirage, but the RM clientele who have money, are not going to go to this place more than once if this is the norm. Â The other reviews about the owner's disposition may have been right, but I didn't verify if the guy who helped us was the owner. Â He did not seem to have the temperament to be in a service industry, or he needs to be in the back of the house. Â Â
I may try this place one more time incase it was a perfect storm or something, but my friend will not. Â Looking at the other reviews, I feel sympathy for the owner, this place is often being perceived in a bad way.
This is the very first time in my 35+ years of watching Sunday NFL football in a bar/restaurant that I have felt compelled enough to complain about such a negative
experience. Â The name sounds great and there are plenty of large screen televisions. Â O.K. Â That is all that I can write objectively without boiling over with anger! Â The manager/owner (think Billy Bob Thornton on a bad day without a shower in weeks) was incredibly rude. Â He let us know, with attitude and no uncertain confidence that only the Seattle and Minnesota fans were guaranteed a
television for the game. Â We showed up 45 minutes ahead of our game see our team play. Â
Mind you, there were only 5 late games and we were told to wait while this guy catered to the local yocals. Â I understand wanting to take care of your frequent customers, but not only was he ignoring everybody, he also told an elderly man to get up from his booth because a couple wanted to sit there and he had a policy against singles taking up the booth. Â Fair enough...except the man mentioned that he has a chronic back condition and can't sit at the bar. Â Fair enough...except Billy Bob was incredibly rude and stated that he makes no exceptions. Â How about treating people, especially a lone senior who looked miserable, with just a shred of dignity. Â The poor guys shlepped over to the bar with a look of both disgust and resignation. Â Can we aggravate everybody who crams into this bar for a $5 Bud???
My daughter and I decided to sit in a booth after standing around at the entrance for 45 minutes while at least 5 dozen "preferred fans" were seated and V.I.P'd. Â Mr. Thornton finally had our attention. Â He snaked his way immediately to our booth, Voila, finally we were to watch our game? Â Au contraire! Â Bad Santa dressed down like we were caught peeing our pants in the 2nd grade classroom of the mean old teacher. Â "Did you seat yourselves"? Â We answered, "yes, we just want to watch the game on any one of these screens". Â His response, "No, no, no, you don't do that. Â These booths are for a larger group. Â You don't do that". Â Please understand that there were numerous booths with 2 people. Â I am almost done. Â We were fed up enough and it was now game time. Â On the way out, I was so incensed that I yelled out to the waiting line, "This place stinks". Â A fellow football fan let me know that this is par for the course. Â For those who are still with me, let me state that I have been to hundreds of bars and never been treated so rudely. Â If Bad Santa (without the talent) wants only Seattle and Minnesota fans, rename the bar!!! Â Vikings/Seahawks-only Stadium Club!
We stopped by the bar early the previous day and Thornton came to the door aggravated. Â I simply asked if the bar was open to the "under -21" crowd. Â He was rude then, but we passed it off as a hustling, busy bar owner. Â Billy, please learn manners, change the name to reflect your desired customer base, and take a shower. Â This is constructive criticism. Â Please be warned!
I noticed that all their advertising is for the STADIUM HOUSE. I drove by today and the sign still says Stadium Club. I called and was informed that they have changed the name to Stadium House-- strange. I have not returned to eat there, but I doubt that much has changed other than the name.
Review Source:Went with a Bud to watch Game 4 of the World Series. First time for both of us. Atmosphere made me feel like I was in a big Barn. Too few large screens. We both had the Burger that was served lukewarm. Beer could have been Colder. Bit of a Dud overall. We left after the 6th inning and went to another Sports Bar down the Road. Day and Night. I don't get it. P.S. We asked staff we had contact what's up with the Place. They reluctantlty pointed the blame @ Management. The word "Cheap' was used more than once.
Review Source:Wow! This place must suffer from a split personality, and more Jeckel than Hyde. Lots of thumbs down reviews, but our experience was fine. And let me say right off the bat, I had the some of the best restaurant BBQ ribs here  I've ever had, and I've had them all over the US. They also served me a very tasty Margarita on the rocks. (However,
when I received the bill I noticed that the Margarita was one line item and "Rocks" was charged separately -- now that was a first and they did remove the rocks charge.) My wife sad her crab and shrimp salad was very good. The server was friendly and prompt. I wold go back, especially for that very reasonably priced rack of delicious ribs.
Thanks to a very attentive server who made some delicious recommendations, my family and I had a wonderful meal here last night. Admittedly, I don't go to sports bars too often, but I do enjoy a good Bloody Mary, and this was by far the best one I have ever had.
The French onion soup was rich and cheesy, and my daughter had the Mac & cheese, which she loved. To finish the evening we shared a creme brûlée to die for.
It is a varied menu and we can't wait to go back and try some of their other offerings.
We decided to ditch our usual sports bar, The Beer Hunter, to try something new this weekend. Â From the moment we entered SCSB, the servers and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially our server Adam as well as the owner John (who previously ran successful restaurants on the Las Vegas strip so he knows what he's doing). Â When we walked in they saw my laptop and offered the wi-fi password and sat me near a plug in case I needed to charge up. Â We requested to see a college game and they put it on the big screen for us! Â We scored in coming during happy hour...Stella beers were $3 each, and the apps we snacked on were perfect. Â We had the guacamole and chips (nice thick chips so no breakage) and tater tots with BBQ sauce--both were delicious! Â
Don't let the negative reviews deter you from giving this fantastic place a try, we certainly didn't and were pleasantly surprised. Â All of the negative reviews are shown up top, and the positive reviews are pushed to the bottom in a different section until you PAY to advertise with Yelp--ridiculous. Â It's certainly worth the visit to watch your favorite game with friends OR to check out the dueling piano nights which we've just heard are starting soon here! Â Absolutely coming back for a return visit very soon!
WOW opening biig night have BB even promote the event and no heads up there is a $10.00 cover. Â Really and startong business is going to have a huge cover like that for a place that is trying to pack the place and is not even a real club. You can pay for all the lights and djs but cant put time into your service. It sucks and establish your self before charging cover.
hf
TL;DR - Slow service & small portions.
Went to watch the Thursday night Bears at Packers game 09/13/2012 with a friend.
The front bar was full so we checked out the other side and after finding out the seating was awkward and a complete lack of any attention from staff we asked the hostess for a booth.
Was quickly seated at the booth of our choice. Our server took a while to appear, and we later learned apparently the bulk of his tables must have been on the other side of the building because we only saw him a few times.
Food orders took a very long time to appear, and we noticed almost no other tables had food. Â The one young man walking around with food was asking guests around the room if they ordered what he was carrying, no idea of the table number system (sounds crazy huh).
We ordered beers which were very well priced for happy hour, but the food and related service were the source of disappointment:
1) Hot wings - you get 5 for $5, seriously? They were good but the plate looked sad with so little on it. Â If you're going to put so few say that on the menu so I can adjust expectations. Â I can get $0.55-$0.60 wings at BWW on their sales days, and the happy hour wings at Burgers and Beer are better and a full meal in themselves.
2) Taco Plate - $5 for 2 tacos which consisted of tortillas with burn marks and some pot roast meat inside, awkwardly bland. Â No rice, no beans. For a $2.50 taco it was sad, for a $2.50 happy hour taco it was pathetic.
3) Nachos - $5 - how do you mess up nachos? They found out how... the cast icon skillet presentation was actually really cool, but the overwhelming amount of black olives and sour cream turned the literally burnt chips into a nasty mess.
-
We paid our bill and went to another place because we were still hungry and had no intention to wait even longer for more disappointments.
-
Pros - The host staff was friendly, nice TVs, cool dimly lit environment is more chill than BWW or B&B.
Cons - the quality of food and related service needs a lot of work
Conclusion - I will go back in a few weeks to see if they learn, new places need our support especially if they try. Â Love the idea and location =)
The worst. This place is so bad that I joined yelp just to warn people how bad this place is.
My 1st experience was the opening Sunday of foot
ball season. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. My server returned to my table 20 min after I ordered to ask if I wanted sausage or bacon. 10 minutes after that he returned AGAIN to ask how I wanted my eggs.
45 min after I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich (with 2 visits from my server to confirm) I was served a plate with 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon. I told my server I ordered a sandwich and he asked if I would like some bread.
Against my better judgement I returned
A second time to watch the Thursday night football game. I ordered wings and fries. I took 1 hour and 45 min to get my food.
The server was kind and apologetic but it is totally unacceptable to wait almost 2 hours for 5 chicken wings...this place will not be here long.
Decided to give this place a try, hoping it would be a place to go for sporting events, beer, and food... We walked in and it was so quiet, we found a table in the middle of the room and asked to have the tv changed to a live sporting event and it took about 15 minutes for the staff to figure out how to change the tv to another channel. Â I ordered a draft beer but they were out so they brought a bottled beer in a glass. Â They had about 5 or 6 draft beers, but the tap handles were removed on most of them since they had run out. Â There was nothing inside the restaurant that made it feel like a "Sports Bistro" other than the tvs being on sports channels. Â They were out of some of the items on the menu, they didn't have a blender for the margaritas and daquiris. Â This place was a real disaster. Â The food was not good, the wings were not tossed in sauce, even though I ordered them with sauce. Â The nachos had no cheese or toppings on them, they were just chips. Â I could keep going on and on about how bad this place was... but there was a bright spot, the server was very very patient and had a great sense of humor about the whole situation. Â
I will not be going back.
Cool inside, would be good to watch a game-
Homemade potato chips were good, but nothing new
Bacon wrapped dates - bacon was RAW
Lobster roll sliders - eh- not bad but not great -definitely not traditional style lobster roll- no mayo.
Pork sliders - buns were good- pork was overcooked- over shredded- seemed microwaved (really hot outside cold middle)
Sliders came with coleslaw that was soggy, wilted, and tasted old
Tater tots were good-
Overall good to watch a game and probably apps- but not much more
Doesn't seem like a sports bar. No sports memorabilia anywhere. Â No pool tables dart boards or shuffle board. Â Bar seats uncomfortable. Servers in oversized white dress shirts with ties. Â The female servers might want to brush their hair considering they work with serving food. Â Beer selection not very good. Â But hey they have alot of TV's unfortunately they are all on the same channel.
Review Source:Stopped in here yesterday after work for happy hour (3:00 - 7:00, and 9:00 - 10:30).
The pricing is good: $2 Bud/Coors Light, $3 Blue Moon, Arrogant Bastard, Fat Tire, and Stella, $5 martinis (not sure of the vodka), and a $5 appetizer menu that includes such things as salads, skins, quesadillas, wings, etc. The guy sitting next to me ordered off the regular menu and got a Bistro Burger, which looked quite tasty.
Bartender/bar manager, Cameron, was friendly and attentive.
My biggest (only?) complaint was the seating on the north side of the bar. For starters, there are no backs on the bar stools, which is always a gripe of mine. Next, the stools sit a little over two feet off the ground (too far to comfortably touch the ground with your feet), while the bar comes to about 2.5 feet high. The end result is that my knees were hitting the underside of the bar, and I either had to sit up straight (with no back on the stool), or really hunch over and lean on the bar. The solution here is to get normal-height chairs (with backs on them).
The seating in the bar area is somewhat limited, so I can imagine it turning into "standing room only" on game day. I will have to stop in on a Sunday to check it out, and sit somewhere other than the north side of the bar.
