My son took his girlfriend to Starbusters recently, and he ran a tab.  Starbusters makes you give your credit card to run a tab.  At the end of the night, when my son wanted to pay, they said they couldn't find his card.  He became very upset, as it is his debit card and only means of money for the weekend.  They told him he shouldn't be so mad, and asked him to leave. When he said he didn't want to leave, and he wanted them to find his credit card, they told him he was trespassing.  He then asked if he could write his name down so in case they find it, they can call him.  They gave him a blank piece of paper on which he printed his name.  They then tried to tell him that  this paper was his signature for his bar receipt, and they already gave him his card back.  When my son explained he was not an idiot, they let that issue drop.  They did not offer to help him out in any way, and they did a half ass job of trying to find his card.  Then the bouncer wanted to pretend that my son punched him...but that issue was dropped as well.  What a bunch of losers and not a very caring establishment.  We're not done with them yet.

you used to be my friend, and then I lost all my college friends to their new jobs and new houses. I still live in DeKalb, but it's not as fun going to busters since most of my friends are gone.
Food is ok. I've had onion rings several times and they are really greasy.
Drinks take forever to get since it is almost always packed here.
overall:
-its fun if you're still in college.
-drinks are cheap compared to the city, but they are watered down as hell
-service is terrible
-food is not all that great
The only thing I have eaten at Busters is their pizza, and it was average at best. Â
As a bar/club, I would not recommend it. Â The dance floor is good size, but on most "going out nights" it gets really packed and it's almost impossible to get around.
Also, good luck trying to get a drink. Â It takes forever and when you do get one, you usually get a watered down version of it. Â
The drunk-bus service is really fast and reliable, that is really their only major plus.
The fact they charge cover some nights ($3-5) is a major turn-off.
