I went here due to a suggestion from a date. Some people love the place and some don't. To me it is ok. The place is located at the mall. We had a great waitress. The food was good and drinks were ok. We had to wait for a sit for a brief amount of time. They also have a TV to watch games.
Review Source:Solid restaurant all the way around. Grew up on this place ( the one on Plymouth rd), so this wasn't my first rodeo going here. Went here last light and had the half buffalo and half regular wings starter ( regular wings are way better), had some of my girlfriend spinach dip ( average, nothing special) for my meal i had a rodeo cheeseburger, which was good (the burger is dipped completely in BBQ sauce w/onion rings, Swiss, and i added bacon). Now the fries was probably the worse i had being that i found them to be a real poor attempt at recreating red robin's fries. Also a plus :3 22oz miller lites for $10 (compare to a lot of places, and their own expensive drink menu, pretty good) and they have squeeze bottle for the ranch, which makes it pretty convenient and you can keep refilling your ranch whenever.
Review Source:On a recent trip to Dearborn, my friends were pretty happy about coming back here. I can't for the life of me figure out why. About the best thing I can say here is that the drinks were cheap. The food wasn't a bad price, but as with many things in life, you get what you pay for. Even keeping that in mind, I felt ripped off.
I had the burger and fries - burger was OK, not great, fries weren't good. A friend had the mini tacos, which turned out to be a handful of folded up corn chips with a small amount of toppings. Not happy about that one. My other friend had the fried catfish, which actually looked good. So 1 for 3 - decent in the Major Leagues, not so good when it comes to restaurants.
Service was nothing to write home about - on the slow side, especially bad considering we represented about half the customers in the place that evening.
Time for a play by play review again. First waitress walked by and threw a bunch of napkins on the table and said I will be back lol. Even the kid said why she throw those napkins at us, what did we do to her? And mind you he's only 9 years old. Strike one! Let's see how the rest of this episode goes. Ok she finally came back after about five mins and its not busy. But she is being friendly. No second strike just yet. I ordered my usual margarita if the drink is good then I guess that will make up for having napkins thrown at me. Ok its been five more mins and no drink! Its happy hour and I'm not happy! Its not even a lot of people in here. Ok she messed up both drinks! I ordered a strawberry margarita and she brought out a regular margarita. And my girl ordered a margarita with sugar and they brought it out with salt instead of sugar! Strike two! The one thing I looked forward to she messed up! See I work in the customer service industry so bad customer service really gets me. Ok are drinks are empyt this chick is no where in site. I'm bout to go up to bar and bring my own drink to table. What is she in the back peeling potatoes????? Where is my waitress??? I asking u guys like u know where she is. But um your guess probably would be just as good as mine right about now. Waitttttt you are not going to believe this! She just came back to confirm our order wtf! It should be ready! Ok she said she wanted to make sure it was right food is here now. I will be back to report on the food.....um ok my order was right but the other two are wrong. They are now fixing the problem. Wow! Well on a postive note I got my second drink and its actually good! I'm ready to go now. This place is usually cool during happy hour they have good happy hour specials so I won't hold this trip against them. But to be honest when I come here I don't expect great. Service its just this place track record but like I said the food, drinks, and happy hour specials make it worth coming back. Ok folks signing out ~Q
Review Source:I really like this place. Its affordable, the booths are aplenty and comfortable. It really is in the category of your TGI Fridays or Ruby Tuesday. But more affordable and the plates are larger. So a + for me.
For example the Delmonico Steak dinner includes..a 14 oz. steak (with a generous portion of the filet mignon still attached) a baked potato or mashed potatoes and gravy (real smashed potatoes) or steak fries, and a salad (add the cheddar cheese and real bacon-only a dollar or two). The salad dressing is quite yummy and not canned tasting for the price. For example, I like Catalina dressing on my salads. They offer the French (which is light orange) and the Catalina French (which is dark red) in a squeeze tube! Okay, admittedly squeeze tubes are not 4 star? But this is a smokey, char grilled Delmonico steak with sides and large garlicky roll and butter for 14.99 for the complete dinner, just steak and fries for 12.99??????!!!!

Okay and who's kidding, if you give me extra dressing, I will use extra dressing? On my salad? All day long? Ha!
Don't get me started on the affordable, butter accompanied, and tasty King Crab and Steak Surf and Turf for 23.99.
OK. And there are like 15 flat screens playing just when you thought you may have missed a play on Monday Night Football. Or Oprah. Or the News. Just go here! Great apps and dinners!
Starter's is located right inside of Fairlane Mall in Dearborn, so it's a good option for dining if you wanted to grab a bite while you shop. It is a decent-size dining establishment, with a few large circular booths and a side dining room for those that want to bring large parties.
Because it is a bar and grill, expect that type of atmosphere and nothing else. I actually went a few nights ago for a friend's birthday party and we were told we had to wait two hours for a party of fifteen (they don't take reservations). I think it was a busy night, so don't expect your wait to be that long...but just know they have limited space.
The food and drinks are pretty good. I wasn't that hungry so I had potato skins, but my friends were extremely hungry and indulged in their yummy salads, steak dinners, hamburgers and more. I don't believe anyone complained about their food. The waitstaff was just OK. Nothing spectacular though. I suggest you stop by :-)
