Stopped in on a Wed nite ...Bartender should stick to fighting fires .. 2 electricans doin what they do best ..NOTHING !! .. The place is packed ... So I guess no can read these Yelp reveiws.. LOL...Waste of time posting this... The owner John is watching over my shoulder as I write this review.. The local Potato chip guy here woundering why nobody is buying his bags of chips !! .....Came here to watch Sunday football ,,,Only 1 fight but 2 broken glasses,, 1 on the floor and the 2nd glass,, the guy hits himself in the head with it  ,,, plus the second of 2 holes in the wall ... I give it 2 thumbs up .... AAA ++++... All kidding aside the place is fun and has good food !!
Review Source:Its our neighborhood bar. Â Drinks are good and cheap along with buy backs. Â We'll come here on Sundays to watch some football or for an occasional dinner. Â The food is good, but we've stuck to the simple items on the menu. Â My wife likes the chicken diablo wrap and I like the buffalo chicken one. Â The wings are hit and miss, they should always be nice and crispy. Â If you live in the neighborhood, its a good place for a few drinks.

Went here Saturday night to check out the East River Blues Band. The bar/restaurant is long and narrow. A tight squeeze for the crowd that showed up.
We sat at the bar. Drinks were strong and cheap, and we got buybacks to boot. Didn't delve into the exotic items on the menu, just had wings and a burger. No complaints.
And the band was great.
Been here 2x in past week. 1st visit had what should be a standard for an Irish place, Shepard 's pie. Top was burned it was soupy and greasy. The peas and carrots were the supermarket brand frozen. Figured after that the restaurant title was undeserved. Came back again to see if they could execute bar food. Had wings and sliders. Sliders were edible wings were nasty. This place is a bar, with really good prices. Don't eat here.

Â It's usually pretty quiet, but if someone has a party it can get real packed (which is fun too!) Â Go alone and relax or bring friends for a night out, and they're always very accommodating to their customers. Â And the location is great, right next to the Q46 and around the corner from a cab service. Â For the prices you really can't lose, try it. Â Personally recommend the chickens, ceviche, and Diablo burger. Â See you there :)
Review Source:Came here a few nights ago for a Birthday party. It's a small place so it was hard to move around, but its a pub so it made sense. When we first got there whoever was in charge knew that everyone coming in was talking and catching up. That didn't stop them from making the music loud enough where I couldn't hear my bf who was sitting right across from me.
Also we came an hr late to the event and when we got there it looked like there was only one guy running the entire bar. He was filling drinks and took our order for some wings at the table. There should have been someone helping him out since there were so many people.
The menu wasn't very Irish or Peruvian either. It looked like average bar food, but our boneless wings were pretty good and not just thrown together. I wouldn't mind coming back for a beer or something and the owner seems like a nice guy.
Staunton's is a decent neighborhood spot. I've been here a few times just for some quick drinks. The drink quality/prices are really good. I have not had the food.
I would recommend for a quick drink if you are in the neighborhood though I would not recommend detouring to try Staunton's.
Checked in and quickly checked out.
We sat there for 10 minutes. No one greeted us. No one asked us what we would like to drink. No one gave us a menu, had to go look for it myself. Then no one took our order.
So I guess no one cared when we walked out to look for better service elsewhere.
