Our stay in Key Largo was a wild time. Â It was also eventful--think getting your boat stranded, and having a black-out drunk almost propeller-blast your bestie into the most delicious chum imaginable.
Day two? Â We stayed landlocked and went to the bar.
We found ourselves at Steamers after lunch for some R&R. Â We were not disappointed. Â Their patio overlooked the dock and was cozy and unpretentious. Â Full of locals. Â Live chill music. Â Modest prices, even for the keys.
Don't know if we'll ever steer right for Steamers, but we'll certainly be back to try their food.
We went to Steamers because our first choise was too crowded. Â Steamers should have been he first choise. Â Prices reasonable, service fast and pleasant, food excellent. Â We never got inside, just stepped off the boat and sat down. Â The group had a variety of meals and deserts. Â All very good, blackened dolphin was my favorite and it was as good as any I've had anywhere. Â The place is rustic, view is more canal than bay, but still pleasant.
