Our stay in Key Largo was a wild time.  It was also eventful--think getting your boat stranded, and having a black-out drunk almost propeller-blast your bestie into the most delicious chum imaginable.

Day two?  We stayed landlocked and went to the bar.

We found ourselves at Steamers after lunch for some R&R.  We were not disappointed.  Their patio overlooked the dock and was cozy and unpretentious.  Full of locals.  Live chill music.  Modest prices, even for the keys.

Don't know if we'll ever steer right for Steamers, but we'll certainly be back to try their food.

Delicious!  Excellent service, good drinks and even saw some dolphins.  Manager was very cool and gave us great advice on getting around town.  Would definitely go again!!!

Came by boat, on this day the dock was wide open. Food was good and the musician played, even if the crowd ignored him. The new tiki huts have grass that hangs down in front of the faces of the musician, so he were "faceless" in the crowdless restaurant.

Yum yum. Try their conch chowder and calamari.  The restaurant was pretty empty and atmosphere was modest but the food and friendly service were great.  The view was right on the water and really beautiful. Just dont sit outside after dusk the mosquitoes are ruthless.

We went to Steamers because our first choise was too crowded.   Steamers should have been he first choise.  Prices reasonable, service fast and pleasant, food excellent.  We never got inside, just stepped off the boat and sat down.  The group had a variety of meals and deserts.  All very good, blackened dolphin was my favorite and it was as good as any I've had anywhere.  The place is rustic, view is more canal than bay, but still pleasant.

Best ceviche dishes EVER! The dolphin tacos were to die for! Right next door to Anchorage Resort & Yacht Club, under the bridge.
