We looked for a place that is locally owned. This was cute and located next to the Stearns Railroad. Definitely  a locally owned, everyone knows everyone restaurant. The minute we walked in we noticed a bunch of church folk sitting around and one told us to sit where we'd like. Come to find out that was the owner. I saw the special of Roast Beef and that sounded really good except they were out of Mashed Potatoes. Can't have Roast Beef without Potatoes so I decided on the Turkey Club Sandwhich with Chili Cheese Fries and my husband had the Grilled Chicken Sandwhich, corn, and fries. The drinks were large so we didn't ask for a refill, but the menu stated only one refill. I guess at $1.50, that's still ok.
The Turkey Club looked more like a Ham Club but was still good. The turkey slice was shaped and grilled much like a thick slice of ham. It was your basic BLT with a slice of Turkey on white bread. I typically think of club sandwhiches as double layered, but this was the first single layered club I'd had. The chili on the fries was more like soup. The fries were not cooked thoroughly and soaking in chili juice wasn't that appetizing. The menu said Chili Cheese Fries, so I figures I'd have plenty of cheese, but it was a tiny amount in the top center of the chili.
My husband's sandwhich was soaking in some type of juice/water so the bottom bun was soaking wet. I guess it was from the corn when they scooped it onto the plate and the water got on it. He said the flavor was good, but the bottom bun was pretty much mushy and useless.
The service at the beginning was good. About the time we were finishing up, the waitress couldn't be found for quite a while. Then she was scurrying around trying to get other things done and total up our ticket.
When my husband went to pay, the reciept came back  without a tip line. They said if we had told them before, they could have added it. So my husband had her break a twenty for the tip. Luckily he had cash on him to do that.
If I rated the place just on the friendliness of the place, I'd give a solid 3 -4, but the food was not so great.
