They have great happy hour deals...5.00 between 5:00 to 6:00. The steak skewers were really nice and tender (though I didn't care for the soy sauce they put on it) The crab/artichoke dip was very very greasy (i took at least 5 spoonfuls of grease off of the top and dapped my napkin several times) I mentioned this to the waitress she smiled and walked away?? Even thought it was greasy it was good. The service was great.

Finally a local bar/restaurant that's clean, fun, delicious and consistent drinks mixes. The Wine Wed is a superior value 25% off bottles. We ordered the green beans and was surprised at the large portion, spicy sauce and cooked perfectly. It was so nice not having to drive to downtown to find an up beat spot. Staff was friendly & bartender Robert is helpful and professional. We'll be back many time before heading back home to Cali

Great find. A simple, small bar / restaurant. Uncomplicated menu but delicious. Had the Szechwan green beans and a hummus platter. Both were fabulous. Beans were not overly spicy and tender. Lots of fresh pita on the hummus platter with a yummy creamy tzatziki.  Previous reviewers commented on the strength of the drinks. I like them not so strong and thought my ginger mojito was great.  Very friendly server, too.  She remembered me next time we came in.  Cool!

Korean tacos were tasty and had a good bite without being overwhelming. Also, took home some ahi tuna with fried green beans and impressed again. Good food, busy atmosphere with Every Woman Can charity event going on, but still great service. Nikki was my server and spot on!

Cool atmoshere for being in a strip mall. Weak drinks! For $8+ drinks you should get a good buzz after two martinis...the drinks were so lacking I honestly wondered if they forgot to put alcohol in them..until I tasted my friends and his were equally weak. Save your dough and go to tonix. Same atmosphere, much better drinks!

As a 20-something, I've gone here a few times to have a couple of drinks with friends.  The typical crowd is mid-40s and up.  It's a quieter grill & bar, which means it's a good spot for having conversation over drinks.  They have a few TV's, bar is nice, but overall the atmosphere is lacking.  Their service is somewhat negligent, so I always sit at the bar do make sure I can get something when I need it.

I have been hear a few times since they have opened and I have to say they are a diamond in the rough.  You can tell a lot of prep goes into every dish they put on the menu.

I probably wouldn't have ever gone to Stir, but my husband and I got a gift certificate so we decided to check them out.  We got the tempura asparagus, seafood linguini, and creole pasta.  We were impressed with all three.  The atmosphere is pretty nice considering it's in a strip mall.  The only complaint I have is that both pasta dishes had a bit too much sauce.

I love LOVE love LOVE love this place! Not only because it is conveniently located within walking distance from my apartment, but because the food is AMAZING! I have to echo what Janessa said about the fried artichokes...do it. They really ARE a religious experience.

There really isn't a bad thing on the menu. My only gripe about Stir is that the prices are a tad high for your average Spokane diner's budget, but I will say that it's well worth it.

I probably would have given Stir 5 stars if we hadn't gone on NCAA Zags game night.  Big mistake.

That said, the food was amazing.  I had really begun to doubt that good food could be had in Spokane, but alas--I found it in a strip mall.  I am in LOVE with the wasabi mashed potatoes, although they were clearly going the Spokane route of the milder, the better.  I wished they had a kick at all, and a slightly more noticable wasabi taste.  The salmon was encrusted and a bit salty, but so good and worth it.

Social Hour (2-6 and all day Sunday) serves up 1/2 price apps.  Get the fried artichoke hearts.  Sounds weird, but it's a religious experience.  I will definitely be going back.
