Was driving old 40 (National Pike) on the way to Baltimore/DC. Stopped here based on the prior Yelp reviews for breakfast. I was not disappointed. Not fancy on the outside or inside, but full of locals (always a good sign). Waitress was a bit hurried as she was the only one, but no issues with the service.
I had biscuits and sausage gravy with home fries. The sausage gravy was homemade for sure (good stuff) and the home fries were worth writing home about (you could taste the deliciousness added by the old well seasoned grill in back). I could have eaten two orders of the home fries
Wife had pancakes which were very good and an order of sausage. The sausage was even homemade (from the store next door, they grind their own). Excellent...
All in all a good stop. Very well recommended, Stop if you are going by for a good diner quality meal.
