The Stonehouse

The Stonehouse seems to be finally getting it. I'm not sure what happened but it just seems to have more heart than I remember.

First, the bratenders rock! Amy and Joeix are both adorable and professional and know how to make you feel like you make their day. They seem to be aware of when to chat it up with the patrons, and when to get into gear for a rush (I bet Anthony is great too but I've never been there when he has been so can't say firsthand).

Second- you can get FOOD now! Horn of the bull caters some nights and Stonesoup, others. Both are delicious!!!!

Third- they offer couple great recurring events now like a dinner theater and a loose jammy kind of open mic- where the unknown and unexpected talent can be amazing at times.

I won't YET give them 5 stars because they could refine the beer selection to offer something different than just the usual sierra nevada type stuff. A local (more local) beer would be cool or maybe a great rotating example of the different varieties (porter, pilsner, IPA, lager, etc). Also, the lovely whimsical patio could use some more twinkly lights and lounge type furniture to encourage people to utilize the outdoor space more, maybe even a mini bar in the spooky cave!
