Stonewall Jackson Restaurant

The food is average.  My husband loved his steak but my son had the "all fatty" piece.  I had a salad, they used spinach instead of lettuce which I loved.  Our waitress was not good at all she even forgot to return our credit card when we paid.  She was slow and almost poured the coke in my husband's lap.  If you have patience which I don't, you can go there.

This place reminded me of a dungeon with terrible torture for service. Attitudes abound. The atmosphere is ideal for alot of the folks in FR, as the town is similar.

Came here one Saturday night with friends. We were just looking to have a few drinks and  have some fun. I was excited about the live music we got to the bar around 900pm just to scope the place out get a drink and find a seat. When then band finally set up I noticed it was a heavy metal hair band. Truthfully there nothing wrong with that kind of music, but in this bar there was. The bar area is very small and the band was EXTREMELY loud. I am not complaining about the noise as if i can't handle loud music, but this was seriously uncalled for LOUD.  We sat in the restaurant area, because all the seats in the bar area were taken. Even though they open the doors to incorporate both the bar and the restaurant area, I felt left out like we didn't belong because we were so far away from everyone else, plus the restaurant still had customers to include small children they were serving. This did not feel like a girls night out. So after about 2 drinks and and hour and half later we left and headed somewhere else.
