The food is average. Â My husband loved his steak but my son had the "all fatty" piece. Â I had a salad, they used spinach instead of lettuce which I loved. Â Our waitress was not good at all she even forgot to return our credit card when we paid. Â She was slow and almost poured the coke in my husband's lap. Â If you have patience which I don't, you can go there.
Review Source:Came here one Saturday night with friends. We were just looking to have a few drinks and  have some fun. I was excited about the live music we got to the bar around 900pm just to scope the place out get a drink and find a seat. When then band finally set up I noticed it was a heavy metal hair band. Truthfully there nothing wrong with that kind of music, but in this bar there was. The bar area is very small and the band was EXTREMELY loud. I am not complaining about the noise as if i can't handle loud music, but this was seriously uncalled for LOUD.  We sat in the restaurant area, because all the seats in the bar area were taken. Even though they open the doors to incorporate both the bar and the restaurant area, I felt left out like we didn't belong because we were so far away from everyone else, plus the restaurant still had customers to include small children they were serving. This did not feel like a girls night out. So after about 2 drinks and and hour and half later we left and headed somewhere else.
Review Source:On Decemeber 17th I had 16 people meet at Stonewall Jackson Restaurant for my Husbands 50th birthday & my birthday. I called the week before and set up the reservation and wanted the party in the sunroom. Margie was are server she was excellent and very nice. The food is always very delicious and portions are large the whole family was very pleased:) If your going to have a party/work/family fuction this is a great place.

A few friends and I checked this place out for the first time on Halloween. We ordered chips and Guacamole and we got a plate of obviously off brand chips, crappy salsa and the guy in the back couldn't find the guacamole so they gave us a bowl of sour cream. We were just buzzed enough to eat the crap but it was really LOW quality. My first pitcher of beer was flat but the second was okay. The best thing about the place was the bartender. She was so nice and made REALLY good drinks... besides that first pitcher that is, but otherwise she was great. Not a good experience and we won't be back.
Review Source:I will keep this simple and short, the first waitress we had was great but she had to leave so the service from that point on was lacking. The food: I had a seafood platter Tasteless, Terrible, gave me the xxxxx and I only had a few bites. Wife had the steak, not bad but not a quality piece of meat and it showed. Son had confederate burger, good burger no issues. Price: reasonable. Looks to be a older type place that could use some updating and a good cleaning. Bathrooms were clean. Would not try again and would not recommend to anyone else.
