I walked into this place during a Tuesday night pub crawl to commemorate a 21'st birthday. Â It was around eight o'clock when we came in, and in the future, I would wait until 9, seeing as that's when they start their specials. Â The place is a bit small, but I wasn't complaining. Â They had the usual Jukebox (that costs 5 dollars to use) and Buck Hunter. Â Near the back are some tables, a pool table, and a door that leads out to a smoke patio. Â I was unsure if smoking was allowed inside because there were no signs, so I assume you must go out back to do so. Â We grabbed seats at the bar and proceeded to order. Â
The beer selection here is mediocre at best.  As for taps, they only had three, and this was including Bud Light, so I guess you could say it only had two real beers.  The rest were in the little fridge with the glass doors behind the bartender.  I ordered a bottle, and she served it.  When I paid with a debit card, the bartender went into a little nook where the register was kept out of sight.  I think the register is a bit old, because it took her a few minutes.  Looking into the actual mini-fridge I could see their actual selection.  If you are a fan of Pabst, then this is a good place.
Then came the actual hard liquor.  Remember when I said I would have waited until after 9 to come in?  That is because their rail drinks specials are $1.50 a pop.  Wow.  Lets ignore the fact that Capt. Morgan and Smirnoff aren't included in that deal, these were, as I would discover later that night in a woozy stupor, the cheapest rail drinks on the whole trip.  Just pick a spiced rum or their UV, and sit yourself down.  The pictures people have posted show a more expensive price, but when I have gone in, it has been this price. Â
In the way of food, I doubt there was any.  They had some Miss Vickers Sea Salt chips for a couple bucks, but nothing in terms of burgers or actual prepared food.  And if you want mixed cocktails, then come prepared with the mental knowledge, because the poor bargirl didn't have a mixer book.  Sure, they had the Grasshoppers and Chuck Norris' that every bar in town has, but if you want something else, you'd better know what it is, because they won't help you decide.  Thankfully, however, the bartender had the know-how to make Skittle Shots.
In conclusion, there is no food, the beer selection is sparse, and the drink menu is nonexistent.  But, and this is a big but, their prices are some of the lowest in town.  And if getting smashed on shots of UV Cake is your goal, this is the place to do it.  If the bartender had been able to give us a drink menu, and if there was some form of kitchen for food, I would give this place a 5.  But cheap drinks only go so far.  Go in for the shots, go elsewhere for everything else.
I will be going back again.
im a 21 yr old in college so as far as my opinion this bar was awesome!... Iv only been 1 time but actually ended up leaving Gilly's on a band night because it was ridiculously loud to come to Sledsters. I fell in love! There was a bunch of drink specials, good dance music going with a nice jukebox on site and they had pool tables going along with a few beer pong tables. H-E-A-V-E-N.
Check it out!
