WOW... this place is now under new ownership and management. this is the best nightclub in this area and was busy when I was there last friday night. they play all the best club music and have a great security staff to make everyone feel safe. I would recommend everyone check this place out. great drinks and great staff.

Big place!  You'll find this venue near the corner of San Jacinto Ave and Menlo - near the Mexican Cantina, Acapulco.  Apparently it's formerly Tap Daddy's, but is now Studio 51.

You'll be asked for ID before entry, and when you walk in there are a few pool tables straight ahead, and on the left is the bar. Sat night, 10:00 pm, and looking pretty dead. But if you walk straight back, you'll go through double doors that take you into the "club area"; if you can call any venue in Hemet a club.  Live rock band performing, a nice-sized dancefloor, another bar, lots of tables and some booths lining the walls, and a pretty full room.  But in the 45 minutes I was there, not one waitress came by to ask if my table wanted anything to drink.  There were stairs that led to another level of the "club", but the bouncer wouldn't let anyone up without a wristband. And no info was given as to how to get one.   I guess it was for a private event maybe, but can't confirm.

So 45 minutes of waiting for service, I just decided to leave. I was starving, and ready to go to Acapulco to get some food. As I was leaving, the owner (unbeknownst to me) stopped me and asked why I was leaving. I replied that I was starving and going to get food. Then he said he would feed me.  Hmm... who is this guy?! That's when he replied he was the owner, that I was "f*cking hot' (I think he was intoxicated... no seriously), and that he'd take me in and take care of me and my boyfriend who was with me. We walk back in, he follows, and sure enough he takes us up to that other level and directs us to the catered food.  Thank you, sir!  That was nice :)

But, still nobody came by to ask for drinks.  So we left, with fortunately a full stomach. Guess we didn't need alcohol anyway.  I might try this place again, but I'm not making any plans to anytime soon.
