Su Casa Restaurant

We were feeling adventurous so we travelled from Saugatuck to Fennville to try Su Casa since the reviews were pretty good.  Boo...Yelp, you failed me this time.

We came for a late lunch and there was 1 other table with people.  Hmmm, I should have taken that as a sign.

I ordered the lunch special with a chicken tamale and beef soft taco.  Tamale was one of the worst I've ever had.  Bland and off consistency...and there was only one tiny piece of chicken in it.  Sad.  The beef soft taco was a little bit better, but it was still bad.  I loathe Taco Bell, but I think I would rather go there next time.

The side of rice and beans were also bland.  It seemed like something from a box or a can.  

Oh, and the final straw was a bad margarita.  Just sour mix and a splash of tequila.  Terrible.

Will definitely not be going back.

Great authentic Mexican food. Fantastic margaritas, good tequila. Service...... Umm soso. Barely anyone spoke English, took awhile for drinks and check. Food did come out fast and was excellent. Overall a pretty good experience. A bonus about this place is that attached is a quaint little Mexican grocery store. I be back. Hopefully they invest in some English speaking servers. Good place

Don't go if you have really ever had good mexican food.  We had read many reviews and were very disappointed.  little flavor, just not that good.
