When I went to school in Stevens Point, my friends and I would come here probably a couple times a week if not for their happy hour, then for their awesome night-time atmosphere.
Happy Hour is awesome there. Â I believe it's $3 martinis from 4-6. Â I could have that totally wrong but I know for sure it's $3 martinis. Â It's kinda nice because if you're there doing these hours, you're pretty much alone and having a good time with the bartenders and a friend or two. Â I've never had a bad experience with the bartenders and I believe it was the owner one time who gave my friends and I a couple of free shots! Â Pretty great.
Night time is great too. Â Karaoke and just an all around great atmosphere. Â The upstairs is fun too with all the blacklights and dancing they have. Â The only problem people might have with the downstairs is that it's pretty tight. Â It's not the biggest bar in town but it certainly has a nice cozy feeling to it.
If you're looking for some obscurely good martinis, be sure to check this bar out. Â I'm all about weird drinks and good people.
One of the 12-15 bars in a 3 block radius of each other here (amazing!). Very small place, possibly with an upstairs (I saw stairs but didn't venture up). Â Generalizing from the 3 other customers I saw, I'd guess this is could be the place for nerds & geeks... at least on Tuesday nights.
Music was crappy alterna-crud from a cable or satellite TV music station they were playing on the one LCD TV. Bartenders were 2 hot chicks (like many other bars here) who seemed either very new on the job, or just ditsy, or both.
Although later on two baseball player guys I had seen earlier at the Top Hat bar came in briefly for a drink. Â So there goes my theory. Â I think everyone may just make the rounds to all the bars here. Â How do they all stay in business?!?!?!
