Sukit Hookah is by far my first and favorite hookah bar in Toledo. Not only was Sukit my first place to try hookah, there's something about the atmosphere that keeps me coming back.
I have tried the other two hookah bars in the area (Le Liban and The Oasis) And by far I believe Sukit has been the best choice. Because Sukit is a hookah bar only, Â their quality and selection list allows for you to try many different flavors, as well as mix and match flavors to create a new flavor all on it's own.
I enjoy the Sukit experience because the staff is friendly and they know how to treat a customer right. There will be many times where they will keep constant attention on your hookah experience to make sure that everything is well, and if things seem off, they will always do what it takes to fix it and make your hookah smoke properly.
Sukit is fairly priced and is the epitome of a wonderful business. They have sukit loyalty cards, try 9 different flavors and get the 10th free, as well as allowing you to get free ice, an extra hose, or juice in your base if you check in on foursquare or facebook. Sukit even goes as far as to mailing out coupons to their customers for an even better deal.
All in all, Sukit is my favorite hookah bar. I have met so many people there and always see friends whenever I walk in. It's a really great experience to know so many people believe in Sukit hookah and are regulars at this wonderful establishment. I recommend Sukit above any other hookah lounge, I have nothing bad I could say about them. JP knows how to run a business well.
So this is what Toledo has to offer for hookah smokers?
My cousin joined me on a late Thursday trip here as he's never smoked hookah before. It was a good introduction for him, but left me wanting something more. Our bowl was smaller than I'm used to and they used instant coals. Yuck! And I didn't see the additional coals tucked in the candle holder until the first one was burnt out.
After our session I asked the employee about Sukit's offerings. Turns out one has to request natural coals, they have one Vortex bowl, and they are working on expanding their menu items. Â The owner will be approaching city counsel about the latter (state law prohibits on-site food preparation).
Would I return when I'm back in Ohio next year? Maybe. Now that I know I have to request proper coals.
