We just stopped in for a snack and had a couple appetizers. Â
The "sizzling garlic shrimp" was very badly named. Â It was neither sizzling, nor garlic-y, but it did turn out to be the best shrimp salad I've ever had with a few shrimp over greens with tomato relish, so I won't begrudge the naming fiasco =o) Â
The soup (meatball and cabbage) was among the best I've ever had.

I have been coming to Big Bear for 15 years.  This is the best restaurant ever in BB - and rivals great restaurants I've eaten at in Los Angeles and Ventura (where I live)! She started with Special Raspberry Margaritta and I ordered the It's 5:00 Somewhere cocktails.My wife ordered Blacked Salmon and I ordered  Italian Meatloaf with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Both were incredible! Blackened dishes can be over spiced - this was toned down just right to let the fresh salmon taste to come through as we'll.  For a first time, we indulged in the desserts. Arlene ordered limoncello aperitif with the Mini Doughnuts with 3 dipping sauces. I ordered the Cherry with Chocalate Swirl sorbet of the day plus coffee.  What an incredible meal! We'll be coming back!
