  This café is a little gem in the town of Pine Bush. I stumbled upon it and hope they are able to do enough business to stay around! They have a few outside tables as well as an inside eating area. I had a Cali style chicken sandwich. All of the ingredients were fresh and the chicken was marinated and seasoned just right. There are a lot of small cafes that just thrown the items together but the flavors were paired well with a deep yummy result. We eyed a chocolate mint cupcake the whole time we were eating and decided to split it after lunch. I am a picky cupcake eater but this one was amazing!! The chocolate cake was moist and tasty, with a chocolate ganache filling, and a mint icing with the perfect amount of flavor, topped with an Andees candy. I recommend any one in the area looking for a good and quick lunch to try it out!! I don't know anything about the owners but they deserve a thumbs up!!

  well i hope it is has a/c for summer!
  they forgot my basil pesto on my sandwich
  need  some low fat desserts cheesecake or ice cream no fat with whip cream

  Food is great, dessert is better and their teas are amazing. However, the reason I am giving it 3 stars in the actual cafe. There is little to not ventilation and it's really uncomfortable to actually sit down in there. I've been here 3 times and every time the walls/windows are dripping on the inside with condensation, whatever they're cooking overwhelms the place and it's hot/humid and just too cramped. I would invest in some ventilation, or at least a dehumidifier as it will only get worse come summer. I had to bring my tablet back to my car because it was getting damp being in there.
  
  Don't get me wrong, the food and drinks are great. Just make the cafe a little more friendly to stay. The ladies behind the counter have smiles for miles.... Great job!

  Mary's husband make homemade fresh mozzarella cheese and really great chicken salad.  Stop in and try one of their tasty herbal teas.

  This place is great!  We're here pretty much every weekend.  The homemade soups are outstanding!!! Service is warm and friendly!

  the most beautiful cafe, the deserts are to die for , sweet reteats has an big selection of coffee and teas, the deserts are freahly made and they even have glutin free deserts too.  I loved the variety of cupcakes and i wanted to taste everything, so we will have to go again. The owner mary made us feel so welcome like we  were part of the family, just loved the cafe. The deserts were delicious, the cafe was adorable, If you want to indulge your self for a treat ,the sweet reteat cafe is the place to eat.
