The Table

We stopped at the Table for breakfast on our way to Crescent City from Chiloquin. The food was simple, unpretentious Americana. The portions were way more than ample and the quality was at least as good as the average chain restaurants - if not better. The service was good and the price was very fair.

Don't walk in expecting a hoity toity snobbery place - the accommodations and decor were simple. As if you were stopping at a relatives house for a big bite to eat.

I will stop hear again when I'm in the area on future visits.

Thanks to yelp we found this little roadside restaurant in Chiloquin. Joy and Randy are lovely home town people who take pride in feeding and making their customers happy. I am from SF bay area and was shocked that slow cooked ribs with homemade bbq sauce, home made baked beans and delicious home made potato salad (just like my dad used to make when I was a kid)....all for $6.00! Thats right... SIX dollars. Food was homemade delicious and enough to feed an army. We got an order of fries (they make them with the skin on..yum) just because they sounded good..topped with a huckleberry milkshake for $2! Our bill for two including 2 iced teas was a whopping $19. If you are hungry, arent on a diet and are coming along Hwy 97...turn to Chiloquin and have a great comfort food meal. Now here is the funny thing, I mentioned to joy that we found "The Table" on yelp. She just stared at me. She had no idea what yelp was...so Joy and Randy if you see this ever..we love your hospitality and your food.
