Taconic Wayside Inn Inc

I wish I remembered the name of the waitress, because she was GREAT. The waitress has a wonderful sense of humor, and was relaxed, patient, and friendly. We went with a man who lives in this area and who apparently eats at Taconic Wayside Inn very regularly. The waitress knew exactly what he wanted and was very sweet with him--and with my friend and I, two strangers from out of town.

The veggie burger was delicious, and must have been homemade! I was so happy to try it.

I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I've had food there before , however, after seven years this place has changed for the worse, start off with a rude waitress telling me I'm a scum bag, then a bartender has her hands in places needed to be washed, but fails to do so. The customers were all rude, non-sociable, and somewhat hostile towards my family. The food was not prepared correctly; a steak was overcooked when asked for rare it was med-well, my wife asked for shrimp that was mentioned to be real, but it was stuffed with imitation crab meat was cold and rubbery or well over cooked. Most of the food was over seasoned with salt making it borderline toxic.
