Tally Ho Lounge

I love the Tally Ho Lounge. Yes you have the regular drunks that sit at the bar and star at their drinks. But I think most bars have them. I go on Friday or Saturday nights. There is Karaoke and it is quit fun. Can be there for hours singing and dancing when ever in the mood. Once in a blue moon we will get new comers that think they are better and get drunker than skunks and start fights. It is nice cause we have about 5 big guys that will push them all outside and make them take it outside to keep it nice, peaceful and back to having fun. It's a great place to enjoy and not to be too serious. If your serious, find a different place to go.

This place is terrible and amazing and I am not sure at all how I feel about it.

I have been twice now, the first time already a bit tipsy and the second time just looking to have a quick beer before a show.

It's fun in that creepy, did-i-just-stumble-into-twin-peaks sort of way. Loud, bad music the first time. Dead silence the second time. Both times a perfectly spaced at every other barstool number of sad drunks sitting along the counter, staring into their beers like they haven't moved in since the Carter administration. Perfectly friendly when you strike up a conversation with them, but alarmingly inappropriate with their openness about the disasters their lives have become.

You have to just be in that sort of mood, I guess.

If you are looking to drink yourself into a deep, dark pit, to lose your family, friends, and last ounce of self-respect, than, friends and neighbors, this is the hole for you.

If you just wanna get rowdy with a few friends and have a place to do that in here you won't be bothered, than this is also a pretty good little spot.
