Every time I come here I am inspired! Â For anyone interested in becoming a home brewer, this place is essential. Â For anyone looking to up their game in home brewing, this place is essential. Â The store has a great set-up with people who are serious about beer in a non-intimidating environment.
I would love to go back!
This place needs serious help and is doomed! Where do I start? This whole place is lifeless and flat from the décor to the god aweful service. There is nothing here that keeps me drinking. This place calls itself a microbrewery which is fraud because they have all the visuals of being a brewery, brew tanks, etc, but they aren't even brewing their own beer!!! They call themselves Tampa Bay Brewing Company but they only offer 3-5 of their own beers (if they even have them in stock). The entire waitstaff has no knowledge on the product, is unfriendly, terribly slow and everyone here seems like they have no clue what they are doing. While sitting at the bar, all you see is cluttered, disorganized junk and stacked up glassware which is Totally unsanitary!! We are drinking out of this glassware, by the way. Good thing they don't serve food because I wouldn't want to see what their nasty kitchen would be like. GROSS!!! The music in here makes me want to fall asleep. When you go to a bar, you want to have a great time and this place is nothing but. There are plenty of other places to go in the area and now that craft beers are making its way into way more bars and restaurants, you wont be seeing me in this place again. And I hear there are 2 craft beer joints popping up in coral springs very soon so this place will sink. This place is just an unprofessional, disorganized mess!!!
Review Source:Saturday night marks my third time here in just a couple of weeks. This time we sat outside rather than inside, and the service was just as fantastic. The review about Dave below is RIDICULOUS! He was extremely attentive, super knowledgable (offering great suggestions), and there were not any issues with paying. Tampa Bay Brewing Company's Tap House in Coral Springs is a beer lovers dream! It's nice that all the beers are the same price, unlike Tap 42 where you can be paying $8 or more for some brews. Our experience has always been that the staff is top notch, and they all take extra measures to make sure you find a beer to your liking. Last night I officially joinedtheir beer club, and I will be back soon!
Review Source:Purchased my husband a brewery tour as a gift. He tried calling several times to make the reservation and there was no answer. Â When he finally got someone on the phone today - which he was glad since it expires tomorrow - the rude man on the phone told him "we don't do them anymore" and hung up on him! Â What a horrible way to run a business! We will never step foot in there! I wish I could give zero stars!
Review Source:Not Happy Again.
The server I knew, Laura was either fired or she quit, depends on who you talk to. Â Not that I'm personal friends with her, but the service was horrible before she walked in. Honestly, what I didn't write was my wife and I almost walked out because no one took our order or even said hello for about 5 minutes. When you are sitting at a bar 5 minutes is a lifetime and unacceptable.
I'm a beer guy so everywhere I go, especially Big Bear, I hear people talking about this place. The majority of the people say the service sucks and they won't be back. No one really talks about the beer, which is a shame. Until they get things squared away, Â I'm not stamping my name on this place. Stay Hungry!
I was very surprised at the negative reviews that I read on here so decided to leave one. I first visited this place right after it opened in February and love it. I have been back at least once per week. For those negative reviewers- please keep in mind that this is a Tap House, a simple brewery. They don't have a food menu because that is not what they are about. It is a beer lover's type of place. They have a great draft menu including mostly local craft beers. If you are looking for a cool spot to grab a pint with local beer lovers...this is it. If you are looking for a sit-down dinner or something like a chain restaurant there are plenty of those up and down University. If you are looking for a good  beer and good conversation...this is the place!
Review Source:As other reviewers have indicated you cannot get food here which is strange but they will bring you food from Wings Plus or Sophia's which we found bizarre. Â There was live music which we enjoyed and the 15 beer sampler was decent but the fact that they do not serve food is a deal breaker for me so I will not be back. Â There are definitely better options in the area such as Big Bear Brewing Company.
Review Source:Living in Coral Springs, you get used to the same dozen choices over and over, so my wife and I like to try the new places that open up - especially if they provide some variety. Â Tonight tried the "Tampa Bay Brewing Company Coral Springs Tap House", and yes, that is the real name. Â We checked their website and saw lots of delicious food and we were excited to try something new. Â Unfortunately when we arrived, we were told that they are only a brewery and do not serve the food that was listed on their website - that's the Tampa location only. Â At this location, they could only offer you items from the restaurants in the same shopping center which include a wings place, and a pizza shop. Â They can give you a beer, and that's about it!
Be warned, the menu for the beer does not include prices, so don't be shocked when they're nearly $6 each!
Our waitress was completely useless, and that is being kind. Â The beer my wife wanted was out, so she was able to recommend a similar one. Â For my beer, the keg had run out, so I had to wait for the keg to be changed....unfortunately, our waitress forgot about this and 20 minutes later I was able to flag down the manager to FINALLY get my beer. Â The manager apologized profusely and ended up comping my 2nd beer.
When time came to get our bill, the waitress was nowhere to be found! Â My wife and I waited for almost 30 minutes while drunks spilled their drinks around us to finally get the check...again, from the manager - she ended up being the only good thing about this place.
The beers were a rip-off...mine was a knockoff of Killian's Irish Red, which at the Ale House was on special for $2.50...mine was $5.95.
We will not be back...it's sad, because we felt this place had so much potential. Â Rated 1 star because Yelp wont let me leave anything lower. Â I'll be interested to see the new restaurant that will take it's place in 6 months...
First time here, we walk in, not sure whether to sit down or wait for a hostess but we sat down. After about 5minutes someone finally came to us. Found out its only a brewing company but they have wings plus and sophies down the street to serve here... Kind of strange. This place I havent really found it to have really good beers, but what I've seen everyones different! So cheers!
Review Source:I have lived in Coral Springs most of my life and have been to most of the restaurants and bars around town. Tampa Bay Brewing Company is a welcome addition to the city. I went there on a Tuesday night and really enjoyed the atmosphere, beer and staff. I received some great background info on the beer brewing process by the owner's son-in-law. Had great conversation with the owner's daughter, as well as, another customer at the bar. I also like the concept that you can order food from the surrounding restaurants and eat or snack while enjoying a cold beer.
