Tavern On The Lake

This has to be one of the worst bars I  have ever went to.  The waitress was super slow and the food was cold.  I ordered nachos which came out cold, and with out most of the toppings that were shown on the menu.  I told the waitress that it was missing toppings and she raised her voice at me and said something along the lines of  "that I didn't order the right one"  (There was only one type on nacho on the menu.) They did bring out the toppings to me though.  

My boyfriend and I wen't there a total of 5 times and 3 of the 5 times we went he ordered some fancy IPA  bottled beer that he said of all the times that it was expired.  So be careful with ordering bottled beer.  

I must say though on St. Patrick's  day they had a special type of mac and cheese that was amazing, other then that the food doesn't taste all that well (in my opinion).  

Oh and to the girl who complained about the metal band on here.... If you see a band preforming and you know you aren't going to like the style of the music why stay?  It's a bar not an opera people are not going to be to the classiest expectations.  Also It's not the bar's fault that creepy men (who probably weren't even looking at you) hang out there.

We went there to use the 25 $ gift card I was given by the owner.  Ordered a few drinks , had an app and a sandwich.  Food was decent.  Service average.  Bathrooms and overall conditions are still below normal restaurant  cleaning standards.  I have seen enough of this place and by the looks of several other yelp comments the management / ownership refuse to clean and do the basic upkeep.

Pretty laid back atmosphere.  Food is decent and prices arent bad.  The bartenders were friendly so I can see myself coming back.
