This bar is my favorite hidden jem. Its actually underground or "downstairs" The bartenders Liz and Sean are super nice and make delicious drinks! The burgers and smoked brisket sandwiches are made on pretzel bread and taste amazing. Make sure to add relish and grilled onions if you try the smoked brisket. Also the bartender Liz is really hot .

This place has the potential to be great.  Too many corners have been cut for them to even have the ability to make good food.  The "pretzel bun" is nothing more than white bread that has been baked into the form of a pretzel.  I would also like to see the availability of draft beer.  For now it is only bottles.  The live entertainment is hit or miss so paying the cover charge (which didn't use to exist) is something I would prefer to not do if it turns out that the "band" is some rock star wannabe screaming into the mic and nullifying any opportunity for conversation with friends.  I live around the corner from this place, and many times lately I thought about perhaps walking down there and grabbing a beer, but the simple fact that I would have to pay $5-10 just get through the door prevented me from doing so.  A little less emphasis on the bands and lot more emphasis on products and service would make TF Downstairs a regular retreat for me.

I joined a friend to try this place and give them *yet another* chance...and this time we were quite pleased! They added burgers to the menu and offered them at half price (I'm down for a deal any day,any time!!) and figured it was a good enough excuse to go for a drink or two as well. Jordan, the new bartender, was much more attentive and obviously wanted us to enjoy our time spent there. He came up with original drinks based on what we normally liked, and both of us enjoyed the final product! The burgers were great!! The pretzel bread they were served on is going to be a new guilty pleasure of mine, and I almost wish I hadn't found out about it (not really). However, I still hate the plasticwear and tissue paper napkins...come on guys, you're almost there!!
