Some of the best friend rice I've ever had came from Thai Cafe. Pad thai and curries are also pretty outstanding. Service is friendly, as a rule, and seating is spaced out enough to give you some privacy in your conversation.
There are some standard Chinese dishes on the menu for those who are squeamish about Thai. Don't be, though...just dive in! The folks at Thai Cafe will help you figure out what might work for you.
Good Thai food in a small Texas town. Â Whodathunkit? Â They also have Chinese food on the menu, but we haven't tried it. Â
The pad Thai, coconut curries (we've had the panang and green), and basil and other stir fries are super tasty.  And the prices are very reasonable.  Our favorite thai place in the area is comically expensive and they nickel and dime you for everything.  Terry's Thai Café is much more reasonable.  If you live in any of the small towns north of Corpus, try out Terry's Thai Café.
I don't like TVs in restaurants. I just don't. When I see a TV in a restaurant, it immediately turns me off to it. That being said, if the noise box was a little lower and not so distracting, I'd have given this place five stars. The food is delicious, out of this world even. Whoever is back there REALLY knows what they're doing. The portion sizes are on the large side, which I think is a good thing. Try everything!
