Well....If You Want Lunch And You Have An Hour Dont Go TheRe. Absolutely Horrible Service And No Acknowledgement Of How Bad It Was. Â After An Hour And Five Minutes We Had Them Pack It To Go. Â If I Wanted A Styro Lunch We Woulda Gone Thru A Drive Thru. Â When I Finally Did Eat It Four Hours Later It Was good
Review Source:Big fan. Their spicy shrimp soup, chicken pad mee, phad thai, and their fried rice are some of my favorite dishes. Delicious spring rolls as well and decadent handmade cheesecake, only offered some nights of the week. Wonderful friendly service and good prices as well as amazing food.
Review Source:So, I ordered Pad See Ew. Â It was HORRIBLE. Â The pork was overcooked and the noodles where one step from being mush. Â I never dog a place on the first visit...this was the second bad meal at this place. Â I
I am a great fan of Thai food and this was not it. Â But then again...what do you expect in Wenatchee? Â Thats unfair but someone in Wenatchee at some point someone voted the Best Asian Restaurant...whoever it is must have never had decent Thai food.
A couple reviews said it was bland. Â I totally agree. Â Another review said there were canned veggies....I'm not sure they were canned they seemed more like frozen, but at any rate they were definately not fresh and we were unimpressed. Â They didn't have an option of brown rice which was a slight bummer. We pulled a serious rookie move and during ordering she didn't ask us how many stars and we didn't catch it. Â Food came out with no spices. Â We normally order 4 or 5 stars...sometimes 6/5...so food was really boring. Â
Nice staff, big and open and plenty of room, and quick food were the highlights.
I will admit, I moved here from Seattle and the thai was amazing. Â I'd be willing to try it again with high hopes of it being better. Â In the event that its better...Ill give it a new review. Â Im bobbling between 2 stars and three...2 just seems so mean. Â I'd call it a middle of the road thai restaurant thats doing a good job at also catering to people that arent really exposed to that much asian cuisine.
Very clean and the veggies were crisp and fresh. Â The lunch prices looked like a great bargain but with two of us dining at a thai place and walking away spending 50 dollars on something we could get for 20 is seattle is hard to do over and over. Â Amazing food and great lunch deals just would travel across the river for a better dinner deal.
Overall a great food experience just the wallet did not agree, maybe some dinner specials. Â Â Pad aparagus was great,
Pad Asparagus (#37) with tofu and jasmine rice; Param Tofu (#49)
fried tofu on a bed of steamed broccoli topped with peanut sauce. (and add your chili sauce to spice it UP) with jasmine rice on the side.
After a long day on the road to land in this lovely place with the most gracious of hostesses was a delight. Â We are sated. Â And the imported coconut ice cream (vegan) was the perfect light touch to end our meal.
It's Thai food in Wenatchee.
For me, Thai food has been about fiery flavors and exotic sauces. And wonderful creamy curries and noodles.
The Thai is probably constrained by its clientele more than anything else. A lot of people over here in BFE Washington really aren't ready for the level of authenticity that one finds at your typical neighborhood Thai restaurant in Seattle or Bellevue. Which is to say the food is a little bland.
The Thai is clean and I've never gotten sick here.
It's been around for 15 odd years and is a Wenatchee institution. And the only Thai food in Wenatchee.
I've been eating at this restaurant for years. It has always consistently been delicious food, friendly service, and a very clean restaurant. The family that owns this is very nice, and obviously love what they do.
Favorites our family orders are the mixed vegetables with tofu, chicken satay appetizer, veggie fried rice, and broccoli beef. It's definitely not very spicy food (unless you ask) but I wouldn't call it bland either. Try one of the curries if you are looking for something very flavorful and a bit spicier.
The portions are a nice size - not so huge you overeat, not so small you can't take some home for lunch the next day.
