Timberline Inn

Went there for the first time with friends from out of town. We absolutely loved it. The food and service were excellent. One post states she is her 30s and felt uncomfortable. I am also in my 30s and disagree. We found it very comfortable.

I read the three previous reviews and scratched my head.  How can they rate the food good to very good and give a 3 star rating?  We go there often and have never been disappointed.  Service is always fast and friendly.  It seems to be a favorite for our Chicago visitors as well as locals.  Did I mention that the food is outstanding?  Their only failing is to never have homemade lemon meringue pie.

We love the Timberline but admit the service is often really slow, which doesn't usually bother us because we are at the lakes to relax and go slow anyway. The food has always been great, especially the ribs and steaks.
