Great food, drinks. But the mens washroom had no handsoap!! Hard to clean up after eating wings.

I have read reviews on this site about Time Out West, and all the negative ones are very much unjustified.

I have been their twice and have not been close to being disappointed.

The customer service is top notch and the owners are great!  They have gone out of their way to provide the best service I have ever had at an establishment of this type.

The wings are GREAT!  Especially with Tuesday and Friday (50) cent wings, you CAN NOT go wrong!!!!!

I love going here and enjoy the friendly atmosphere!

Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.  Tell them Bill sent you!

In my search for the ultimate 'hangout' I came across this joint on YELP and thought why not.  The reviews were not the greatest about the decor but the reviews on the chicken wings were all the rage....so ventured over there.

Upon arrivial, I immediatly saw what people were talking about.   The place is dark, old, dingy, and not very easy on the eyes.  The televisions are OLD SCHOOL...only having 1 flat screen, HD TV in the house.  (there are many many tvs but out dated)
We sat at the bar and Kathy greeted us and was super friendly.

She took our drink order and made sure we were aware of the drink specials for the day which is a plus.  So many times you are not told until you hear another customer ask about them.  Sooooooooooo i got a 24oz bottle of MGD for $2.50.  Couldnt believe my eyes when she served it.  It just cracked me up.  I needed a bucket of ice to keep it cold while I tried to finish.  lol
She suggested we try the wings and made note they were not the food special but they are on special every Friday.  So we ordered them.

We watched the game and had some wings were absolutly great.  Some of the best around.  This is the one thing that keeps people coming back (according to reviews).
The waitress Nicole worked the extremely large place all by herself and did a great job.  She is a bundle of energy...come to find out a visit or two later, she knows my cousins.  Small world.

p.s. OH Yeah, they do a wing eating contest...i would love to be there when someone takes the challange.  i believe you get 10 wings of EVERY FLAVOR for a total of 50. and you only get a certain amount to finish the mild to inferno hot wings.  Let me know if you are up for the challange and I'll be there to cheer you on.

p.s.s.  the only reason i didnt give them a higher rating is because its in dire need of an overhaul and a good scrub.

The place used to be cool 10 years ago. But now the place needs major upgrading. No flat screen TV's & No HDTV.  So not a great place to watch a game anymore :( Get up to date Timeout and I will be glad to change my review to 5 stars.

This place is hard as heck to find if you aren't familiar with the area. The easiest way to get in to this place is to take the side street just West of Caputo's off Lake Street then hang a left into the alley behind Caputo's. Keep driving till the very end and it will be on your left. The picture I posted here on Yelp is from the alley, as you can't see the front of the bar from the front of the strip mall facing Lake Street.

The interior of the bar isn't exactly my style. Imagine a dive bar as dark as a Gothic cathedral, then turn the lights off. Add some metal music that's a little bit too loud for comfort, some ancient televisions and worn out bar stools and you can safely qualify this place as dive.

So why give this place three stars? Well, if they a drive-thru for their wings, I'd be over here every night. As it stands, you do have to enter the bar (drat) to order some damn good chicken wings, and at a reasonable price too! You can eat yourself sick on the blue cheese battered goodness.

If you are in the area, check it out with a friend and make sure to order the wings, as it is the only real reason to pay Time Out a visit.

Just another strip mall bar with bad strip mall bar food. The TV screens are far away and the beer is limited. Nothing is special about this place and it is very easy not to see this and skip it driving on lake Street. That is a pretty good thing because there is not much to see in this sports bar dump. About 90 percent of the local sports bars in the city and suburbs are way better than this place. This place is too boring to hang out weekly or even monthly.

    The Bad:

This bar is a dump as far as sports bars go. It looks like it has not been updated since 1970. No flat screens at all, and it just looks dingy.

    The Good:

Good prices on beer and pitchers.

GREAT wings. I have had them several times now, and they are some of the best i have ever had. They are different from most places in that they are lightly breaded and the sauce has little bits of what i think is blue cheese. Whatever it is, it is damn good. And the breading is not thick like hooters or places like that. I prefer naked wings usually because i hate thick breading, but this place does it right.

Great neighborhood place to hang out and get some wings at. Too bad it is a 30 minute drive for me, but i do have friends near by, so we tend to go there when we visit.

This bar is pretty standard in appearance but you can't judge a book by its cover.  40 cents for the BEST wings in Chicagoland (I am NOT exaggerating) and $6 generous pitchers of beer.  We paid 20 dollars for four people to eat and get pretty buzzed, it was a great value!  The service is great, the music is perfect (including Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down, Led Zeppelin...) and I've seriously never had a bad time there.  It's a little bit hidden when you pull in from Lake Street... it's in the back left corner of the plaza, you have to go through a little hallways and in the back door to get in.  The waitresses and bartenders are so nice, I couldn't believe I found a bar with good service for a change.
I seriously can't wait to go back next Friday.  I think Thursdays they have karaoke and Saturdays they have live bands, check them out.
There are pool tables and darts, and sports fans, there are TVs showing every game imaginable so you can't use sports as an excuse for staying in!

Great bar food!!  Friendly staff and cheap beer and food.  They have the best chicken wings around.  Fridays are 40 cent a wing.  They are worth double that.  Burgers are great, chicken sandwiches, fries and the nachos are some of the best around.  Wed. are 99 cent tacos. They are good too.  Stop in for a cold one, and become part of the family.
