Alma used to own a similar place in the city called Alma Pita. Â Her food is great for the price, and I can assure you the curry is worth trying. Â We got carryout from her 1-2 times a week for about 5 years because of the quality and consistency. Â Alma always made time to chat with me, even if she was busy, and I always looked forward to stopping in on my way home from work. Â You are luck that Alma has opened a restaurant out in the burbs. Â We sure miss her in the city!
Review Source:I'm sad to say this but they need to do better. The food could be a lot tastier. The owner said she has been cooking for two decades. She also said the curries are very good. I have not tried on the basis of the shawarma alone which was prepared on the spot. Perhaps others can refute this but, I would like them to try harder.
