Toad Hall

Toad Hall is a friendly bar that serves great burgers at a good price. My son and I were in search of a place to eat on a Sunday, and the employees at RAM recommended Toad Hall. We're thankful that they did.

Lunch prices are $1 off between 11a-2p, and the menu is extensive for a bar- Mussels, Sandwiches with a twist, salads, burgers, a Coffee Stout Chili that is on my To-Do list.

My son and I went with the burgers. A friend later told me that Toad Hall grinds their own meat, how you like dem, er, apples?!

- The Breakfast Burger- fried egg, bacon, cheddar cheese. My burger. Very good! Especially when the egg yolk broke all over. Mmm.
- Patty Melt- Carmelized onions and Merkt's cheddar cheese spread. Take this combo to Vegas, because it cannot lose. My son loved this and the only thing that could make this better is A1 or similar steak sauce. Both burgers cooked perfectly to order!

At Toad Hall you can belly up to the bar, enjoy the game, dine in one of their booths. There's not a lot of dining room, but their food is worth it. Looks like their kitchen stays open pretty late, too! We'll definitely be back when we visit Racine.

I finally made it down to Toad Hall today for lunch.  There wasn't much of a crowd and I was seated right away.  Toad Hall hasn't changed the interior since it was Schillings, which made me happy because I love the interior.

The bartender/waitress was very great.  Prompt and helpful, but not too invasive.  

I ordered the bruschetta as a starter and the B.E.L.T for my meal. The bruschetta was disappointing.  I knew I was taking a chance ordering an Italian staple in a pub and was about as good as I expected.  Next time I will try another app, better suited for a pub.

The B.E.L.T. was fabulous.  Adding egg to a BLT was the best idea ever.  I'm totally stealing the idea for my BLT's at home.  I chose to get tater tots with my sandwich.  They were totally fab.  Crispy, well flavored and delicious.  

I'm greatly looking forward to my next meal at Toad Hall.  They had an awesome menu with lots of tempting options.  I'll just avoid the bruschetta next time!

I really enjoy Toad Hall.  They rotate their beer selection on a regular basis so you can always find a gem that doesn't seem to be located anywhere else however you better get it while you can as it may not be there for your next trip.

The Buffalo Chicken Dip is VERY tasty, i do however wish it would come with a few more chips but its quite the wonderful appetizer.
