When they talk about the Midwest, they are talking about Bucket's. It's full of good people, mixed by age, race, and social standing; I've seen Racine's current mayor there twice. The wings are crispy and inexpensive. Some variety of beer is always on special. Endless TVs. The bathrooms might be the nicest publicly available in town (Dyson Airblade, anyone?). The smoking room has a stone fireplace and they allow cigars. Bucket's is what Applebee's and Buffalo Wild Wings are trying to be. It's just a good honest business, which can be hard to find.
