For the city of Kokomo - this is a 5-star place to be.

Prices are reasonable to a medium size city. The miso soup was excellent and really hit the spot.

Ambiance - excellent. Music (usually oldies) playing in the background.

Had the rainbow roll and spicy tuna hand roll. The sushi tasted very fresh on a Thursday afternoon. The spicy tuna had a different color than I'm use to but still good nonetheless.

Servers did not speak perfect English but man give them credit for trying to explain what was in each roll to you. Big (+) for effort.

Great authentic Japanese food in Kokomo?  You can't be serious! Get over to Tokyo Japanese and check it out.  We had a variety of food and shared amongst the four of us.  We liked the seaweed and cucumber salad. The maki rolls we tried were good including the sea and green dragon.  The salmon combo was good because the fish was fresh but it isn't near as exciting with just fish and rice. The prices and the service was good especially because we got a free scoop of ice cream. Check out the lunch specials from 11-3. The food is 4-4.5 stars and the service and price are 5 stars. I rounded up on the review overall because you can't find anything like this around.
