Amazing food! The portions are definitely satisfying but I could eat every meal twice in a seating because it is so good. I think the outdoor, repelling theme is adorable and fits the nearby forest well. Definitely a must try!

Try breakfast there

Stopped in at this restaurant yesterday with my bro for a bite to eat in a location that seems to have recently sprung up in the months that I have been away from home.

Initial impressions were a bit subdued as I couldn't quite tell what to make of the place. It felt like it was a banquet hall with wood paneling and imitation wood flooring paired with a papier-mache-ed cave wall design that extended from the bar over to the far wall of the restaurant. And while the scenery rang a bit strange, the restaurant itself seems to hold a lot of promise. A fully stocked bar in a small town like Brevard is certainly a perk and a large selection of taps that include mainly domestics, but also a few good seasonal and craft brews, will hopefully draw in some of us local barflies.

The service seems a bit discombobulated, though I imagine this is simply a consequence of being a new establishment. Learning how to navigate a new environment is the hardest task of any job, in my opinion. Our server was incredibly attentive while handling other customers and everything we needed was delivered on time and as requested. The Shrimp Po' Boy and Mac N' Cheese were great (according to bro) and my Crab Cakes were decent. the Mashed Potatoes were really good.

While we enjoyed our beer, our food, and our service, nothing yet in this establishment has been tremendous and it certainly will need a bit of luck in competing with some of the other delicious spots to eat that are closer to the economic center of town. With a diverse selection of food, a full bar, and some dedication to improving the eating environment I expect this place will be able to lure in a number of repeat customers. Now, to just figure out how to compete with the more established local bars and restaurants closer to town.
