This used to be my favorite restaurant, now it seems like they are using cheaper grade of beef. The ribeye was not worth the price. Â I won't be going back. Yes, this area has many restaurants, and a lot of competition, so I would think that the last thing you would want to do as a business is down grade the quality of your food.
Review Source:Average food & service.
We went for dinner and the place was pretty empty. We had the tortellini con pana ($16) and the New York strip steak ($30). I liked the portions to the pasta, and it tasted good, but I couldn't taste the chicken at all unfortunately. The steak was average, nothing memorable.
My family has been going to Tribella for years, although less frequently as time progresses. I went with them for the first time in several years last night. It is still good, although not great.
At around 8:15 p.m. on a Friday, there were only about 10 patrons in this big restaurant. When we arrived, we weren't even sure that it was open as there were very few cars in the parking lot. I remember it being much busier in years past.
Our waitress was kind but a bit absent-minded. She forgot drinks and to put salad dressing on the side. The waitstaff quickly removed empty dishes.
I ordered the Penne Arabiatta and a side Caesar salad. I enjoyed the pasta but was disappointed with the salad. There was way too much dressing, and I couldn't tell whether it was store-bought or homemade.
My mom and dad ordered the Rigatoni ala Bolognese. The sauce is tasty, but I personally do not enjoy the large pieces of Italian sausage in the dish. They should be cut smaller.
My boyfriend ordered the Tortellini Con Pana. The tortellini was slightly overcooked, and the sauce wasn't thick enough.
This restaurant has been relatively consistent throughout the years. At this visit, there was nothing seriously wrong with our meal, but it was by no means outstanding.
