A great friend of ours told us when in town, go to Trio for Wednesday Steak Night, so we figured what the hell- we'd give it a shot. I was so pleasantly surprised to find out this was a $10.00 a plate Steak Night- and I am talking steaks bigger than the average plate! Never mind the choice of sides (i picked the baked potato) and the seafood appetizers for like shrimp grilled or cocktail or clams ordered raw or steamed. Simply put This is an OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD MEAL! Â
Another great thing about Trio is that is is smaller and has that personalized- neighborhood hotspot feel to it. Everyone seems to know each other, but not in a standoffish kind of way. Who we didn't know when we arrived, we met before we left- Â The Owner, as well as the Chef- both popped over to see how we liked the meal, which is really nice and genuinely shows how much these guys care about their food and their service. Megan, the Wed night bartender, is cool as hell, absolutely beautiful, and has honed her mixology skills to a "T". So if you want that pomegranate martini or your concoction of choice, stop in and ask her- she is sure to oblige!
Now, considering we are a tad older now,and not into the club scene anymore (LOL!) we like to hit the hot spots relatively early, albeit hit them hard (eating and drinking a ton) and then we try to head out before all the 21 year olds start converging around us, Trio is no exception to that rule. Unless you want the music loud, and lots of singles, I'd say keep your dinner reservation before 9 pm.  When we finally had our last of  our "nightcaps" it was 11:30 pm, and the place was jumping.  And as our 40 something year old asses can vaguely remember, that is when all the "cool kids" hit the hot spots like Trio! Every Wednesday is Steak Night at Trio- You Must Give Them a Try!!! Â ;0)
