Neat little find, this Tubby's Diner. The atmosphere was simple and pleasing. The waitress gave me a look when I didn't know what "chicken pastry" was. So then I got a sample of this "chicken pastry", something akin to chicken n dumplings and would be especially comforting on a cold or sick day.
My main course was the fried pork chops -- not bad. The best part was the green beans, with thick chunks of country ham.
One must try the dessert called "chocolate marble cake". Oh myyy, Â that was tasty.
