Ive dropped in twice & each time waited over 30 min for a menu. The place only had 4-5 tables of people (2-4people at each) and waited almost another 30 min for someone to take an order that we walked out. Server was too busy talking with those in the bar & other tables
If I could eat here for breakfast and lunch everyday, I might be fat, but I would be happy!
I love the food, I love the staff, and I love the kitschy decor. Â
They never get snippy about substitutions, their portions are huge, the food is great, and everything comes with a smile. Â Check it out, you won't regret it.
The Tumbleweed really surprised me. Â We went in a huge group of people and the owner/waitress was very friendly, chatty and rolled with the sense of humor of our group. Â The salads were giant, the Friday Clam Chowder was really good and the prices were perfect. Â The prime rib special was an incredible deal. Â It's a simple cafe, but the food is plentiful and hearty. Â If you are in town for wine tasting on Red Mountain and need a place to fuel up mid-day, or after a long day of wine and crackers...the Tumbleweed will really hit the spot and you'll still have plenty of cash for wine purchases the next day!
