Tumbleweed Cafe & Lounge

Ive dropped in twice & each time waited over 30 min for a menu. The place only had 4-5 tables of people (2-4people at each) and waited almost another 30 min for someone to take an order that we walked out. Server was too busy talking with those in the bar & other tables

If I could eat here for breakfast and lunch everyday, I might be fat, but I would be happy!
I love the food, I love the staff, and I love the kitschy decor.  
They never get snippy about substitutions, their portions are huge, the food is great, and everything comes with a smile.  Check it out, you won't regret it.

The Tumbleweed really surprised me.  We went in a huge group of people and the owner/waitress was very friendly, chatty and rolled with the sense of humor of our group.  The salads were giant, the Friday Clam Chowder was really good and the prices were perfect.  The prime rib special was an incredible deal.  It's a simple cafe, but the food is plentiful and hearty.  If you are in town for wine tasting on Red Mountain and need a place to fuel up mid-day, or after a long day of wine and crackers...the Tumbleweed will really hit the spot and you'll still have plenty of cash for wine purchases the next day!
