Soooo yummy.
This little bakery in the middle of nowhere has delicious espresso and treats. Lovely women run it. Its been in business for ten years.
Go early. Pastries fly away fast. We got.there sbout 10:20 and got the last of a few things. A crowd came in about 11 and got the rest.
We had an almond croissant, a chocolate croissant, a cinnamon sugared morning bun, and a heavenly slice of ham and gruyere quiche. Omg the quiche...fluffy egg, flaky crust....awesome. All the treats were wonderful.
Perfect mochas.
By the register the delicious morsels of macaroons dipped in chocolate tempted too much. Â $5 for a bag of six. Mine!
Go. Go early. You won't be sorry.
I want to share that Twofish bakes wonderful delights. Â Their bread is out of this world, sticky buns are delish, and croissants are flaky as much as they are tasty. Â The pizzas they offer on Friday and Saturday nights are equally fabulous. Â However, customers should be aware of the caveat that too often accompanies a trip to Twofish. Â Their bakery items and pizzas are wonderful, IF they are available. Â Neither their website nor at the store is there information that sandwiches and pizzas are technically completed by special order. Â Locals know to pre-order these items, but many potential customers leave the store frustrated that bakery items are no longer available. Â I was there this morning at 9:30 and there was only one scone and three almond croissants available. Â While there (enjoying one of the croissants with out-of-town friends), within 15 minutes we witnessed six people arrive who left after noting there was very little left to eat. Â In the past, I arrived at noon to get a sandwich, only to be told (complete with condescending attitude) that "we are out of sandwiches, you have to call ahead of time to get one". I attempted to get a pizza on a Friday at 6 p.m. and was told "we are out of pizzas". Â Out of breakfast items at 9:30? Out of lunch items at noon? Â Out of dinner items at 6 p.m.? Â I do not understand why a bakery would run out of items during the peak time customers are seeking their goodies. Â I took a chance this morning since I had out-of-town guests but we were all equally disappointed at the lack of product. Â This place needs some serious competition!
