Reasonably priced drinks, No cover, Friendly Wait staff, fun activities and good music will be found at Uncle Gary's Bar. Last time I was there they had a food truck parked in the back.
So if your Burned out on Hanovers give this place a try. No dance floor but I'm not going to fault them for that.
This is an AWESOME Place to just go and hang out and drink a beer. very nice outside area. the wait staff is super cool there was a Live band Saturday night. a very nice hidden spot. So I am not going to tell you were it is.........LOL
Yes there is an Uncle Gary He is always walking around and talking to the customers like he has known them forever. He came by our talbe a super nice man.
this is a big win for us and it is close to the house.
Yes, pull into the used car lot and drive straight back to the bar. Â It's nice to have a local joint in this area since there's not much else for happy hour and/or late night. Â It just has a good 'take it easy' vibe. Â The bar (inside) is small-ish with bar seating and a handful of tables. Â But you're likely here to relax on the large "L" shaped deck out back which has it's own bar, numerous tables with umbrellas, and comfortable seating. Â Or maybe you want to take it down to the grassy area where there are numerous picnic tables, a gazebo with seating, and possibly a hammock. Â Being there on a Tuesday night, I couldn't get a real good look out back but from what I saw the volleyball court looked to be top notch. Â And I believe I saw a washer pit or two as well. Â Can't wait to revisit this chill place.
Review Source:SSSSSHHHHH...dont tell a soul about this place. I mean it is easily the funnest bar in Pflugerville. Maybe even central Texas. Tucked away behind Gary's business hides this absolute gem. Huge lot with sand volleyball, washers and room for lots more in the future. Tons of outdoor seating and afternoon/evening is usually shaded making it a comfy cool way to spend the day. Big beautiful outdoor deck surrounds the place.
The inside is adorned with lots of woodwork and interesting visuals. Both human and material.
The staff i awesome, cheerful and downright friendly. Gary the owner usually will be hanging out in there as will Elvis the massive Mastif that is sweet as can be.
I selfishly hope Gary's secluded location keeps this place from becoming massively popular. This is a very cool unique place that will only get better with time.
