Villa Roma Restaurant

My Father, my out of state husband and myself dropped in for dinner this weekend.  Where do I begin?  The crass, obnoxious, big mouthed owner who spoke very loudly while basically just shoving us towards a table?  The really bad interior?  So dusty, dark, woody, outdated and junked up.  The drinks?  Haven't seen a wine glass like I was served since 1978.  The menu, extensive, but so overpriced for what it was.  Will NEVER go back.  Now I see why it was so empty on a Saturday nt.

So friendly and familiar. An extensive Italian menu that is consistently good and an easy choice. A slightly upgraded choice of wine by the glass would be a terrific enhancement to the offerings!

Comfortable like an old shoe. It's all on the specials board or part of legend, like the gorganzola salad. Is the gorilla still in the entrance room?
