Hippie, Biker, hideaway. Â You can't find a more eclectic group of patrons. Â This is what diversity is about... Great Bar, Â More types of Beer that I have seen in a long time, they pour Doubles Liquor for there mixed drinks unless you ask for something different.... then on the weekends the dining room is open... its somewhat of a limited menu, but what there is, Â lets say this, if you go home hungry you didn't eat... Prime Rib is my Fav, the Surf and Turf is awesome too... the wait staff are just as eclectic and are fun and sweet.... Â I hit the Warehouse Cafe about once a month... Its a Winner in my book... See y'all soon.
Review Source:"Every drink is a double unless requested" they say in a sign behind the bartender. Beer from tap is poured in a mason jar...that's the kind of place this is. I had a turkey burger and it was surprisingly very good. My buddies had burgers and they said they were pretty decent. They only give you Lay's potato chips with the sandwiches though. It's a cool ride in to this place and it overlooks the Martinez bridge.
Don't plan on anything fancy, it is what it is...and that's a pretty cool hangout spot.
We absolutely love coming here. Â It takes 45 minutes to drive out from Discovery Bay but it's always worth it. Â I've been coming here since the mid '80's and it's still one of my favorite places to eat. Â The food is consistently great. Â I almost always order the shrimp scampi. Â We have now introduced the cafe to our 5 year old son and he, of course, loves looking at the live, pick-your-own lobsters and the polar bear. Â This restaurant is a treasure in our Bay Area.
