Unassuming from the outside, unexpected on the inside, outstanding hospitality and food with fantastic service.

Ok so this seems to be some little hole in the wall, but the beer is cold, the steak is melt in your mouth tender and the salad is almost a meal in itself. If you are ever in the Wauconda/Republic area this is a MUST.

My friend and I toured across country on our bicycles this past summer.  We were greeted so warmly by folks here. The food was great!  The hospitality was great!  They have supplies and lots of coffee.  I highly recommend stopping here.
