Th Sportsmen's Roost

After a LOOONNG day in Okanogan & Ferry counties, we were super hungry & beat.
We seated ourselves in the small, clean family friendly dining room near closing time.

Our waitress was quite friendly & we opted for the Friday night special...Prime Rib. It was big & cooked to perfection w/ the usual sides. Unfortunately, they were out of the clam chowder. That was the only blip on the whole evening.
The bar in the back does a swift business, especially with the road/ utility crews in town . We were too beat to hang out & drink. They serve the full menu in the bar, too.

We walked in and sat down, and we were immediately greeted by a very friendly young lady. I asked about the beer selection and she suggested I take a moment to check out the beer cooler for their robust bottled selection. I found a bartender dressed up like a traditional pinup girl! We stayed for a tasty American meal, and I tipped 40% on the bill and told our waitress how appreciative I was of her very friendly and very prompt service. We'll be back, next time we're in Republic!

My wife and I stopped in here on the way through town on a Friday night. I have to say it was the BEST prime rib either of us have ever had in our lives! Everything else on our plate was spot on, as well. Service was excellent. The owner even came out to say hello once or twice to his guests. I can't recommend this place enough.
