Madonna's

Republicis the middle of nowhere (Stayed on Curlew Lake - beautiful!!!) Now about Madonna's, the beer was cold and they had pull tabs going at the bar. I think I may have won 5 bucks but after a few drinks maybe I didn't. The food was good and the Karaoke was fun. Nothing like a few beers and knowing no one that allows you to belt out that tune that you never sang outside of your car or shower! Owner's Alice & Dave were very nice. I think I rated it a 5 because I expected nothing and it was a really fun place.

Dark and dirty. We walked in and sat down, the only table seated in the joint. The bar was full of belly-uppers, and the bartender was getting rowdy. We waited as 5, 6, 7 minutes passed. Finally, the scrappy-looking bartender came around the outside of the bar, then she started a cheer, and did a shot with her bar patrons. Then she walked back behind the bar, still not acknowledging us. We took our cue, and gathered our gear and walked out. She hollered "sorry, guys!" at our backs on our way out.
