My sister got the smart genes and the rest of us got the drinking genes.

So, for this reason, she doesn't drink.

BUT ... she got wasted here.

On cheapy 1800 tequila shots.

And fireball shots.

And kamikaze shots.

And ... Got kicked out of the "club".

For that reason alone, 5 stars.

This place is part pool hall, sushi resto and "club". Their sushi is decent but pricey. So go for happy hour (10pm onwards) for 50% off.

I love the Wave.  Great food, endless menu, awesome atmosphere and they treat the employees and customers like family.  Downtown Spokane has many good places to eat or drink but rarely would I eat anywhere else.  The menu has something for everyone, even non-sushi eaters.  Check it out if you have a chance.

This is a fun place to meet your friends! My grad school cohort and I would always meet for happy hour for a few drinks before our night class at the Eastern Washington U extension center. It IS more like a party atmosphere and you probably are coming more for the scene than the food (one of my sushi-averse friends hilariously commented that the sushi he ended up trying "tastes like McDonalds!" meaning the Big Mac sauce). Not that this is really a bad thing, but it isn't for purists. It is for those who like a lot of sauce and decoration on their food, fish second.

Overall it is a fun time and probably a great place to go on a date, as long as your date isn't a sushi snob! :) Great place to start off your evening romp.
