Weekends Paradise Bar & Grill

Place has a ton of potential, and apparently has terrific night life, however much improvement is needed in the restaurant.  Food is good, but service is beyond poor.  Been there twice now, and had to walk up to the bar, order drinks and ask for a server to come take food orders.  Once served the waitstaff was reasonably attentive, but not knowledgeable at all.  Seemed very young, inexperienced and probably hired for the size of their endowment, as opposed to serve customers.

This place is the best around for a fun time for all!  The age group is very diverse -- You can have a good time if you are in your 20's, 30's, 40's, or even 50's and older!  There are two separate bars with two separate music types.  One side is always country music and the other is basically Top 40 with some old Rock n Roll thrown in.  Both sides have decent bands that cater to the crowds.   Both clubs are non smoking which is a huge PLUS!  However, if you are a smoker, there is a huge outdoor patio that is more like an indoor patio because of how it's situated.  *AND* there is the old Riverboat that is now permanently parked at Weekends.  They have a Hip-Hop DJ, a dance floor, and a boat full of smokers!  
The drinks are cheap (but unfortunately they are not known for being very strong!) and the lines are not long to get them.   The clubs are open until 2:00am and beginning around 1:00am, they put out a fairly decent and free scrambled egg taco bar!

My only warning would be to watch yourself when you are leaving -- Garland/Rowlett police are generally not too far away!   Weekends is by far better than anything else around!
