Wheat and Rye

I can't go any higher than a 3 here. Atmosphere is typical beer joint. Sandwiches are Monsters that are nothing more than a heart attack on a plate. Sides too. I will say its amazing how big the sandwiches are for 7-8 dollars. Easily big enough for two people. Back in my college days I would have liked this place because of the huge servings. Nowadays, I am a little smarter!!!

Upon further review (and another visit) i have to drop this down a star. The reason is the i feel like the quality of meat isn't as great as the top deli's in Metro Detroit. The wings and fries here are still great and their drink are still at a good price. Still probably the biggest deli sandwiches in the state of Michigan and definitely worth a visit, but the meat isn't the greatest.

From the outside and name you wouldn't expect much. But this place is a must stop when your in the area. The "wheat and rye" sandwich is the most amazing thing I've ever put in my mouth. Its always busy which is great. Fresh good food. It's so reasonably priced is amazing there still in business. Keep it up wheat and rye.
